Scott Miller

Executive Director

I am Scott Miller and I have been the Executive Director of Just For Kids since 2010. I hold a Master's Degree in Special Education. I currently am the Vice-President of the West Virginia Child Advocacy Network Board, President of the Fayette County Family Resource Network Board, and a member of the Raleigh and Wyoming County Family Resource Networks. I am a member of the Beckley Rotary Club and the proud father of six children.

Manon Wheeler

Family Advocate

I am Manon Wheeler and I have been with Just for Kids for since 2015 as Executive Secretary, prior to coming to Just For Kids as an employee, I sat on the Executive Board as President, Vice-President, and Treasurer. Being a parent of a survivor, I have a heart for the hurting, and through Just For Kids, I'm able to see children and families get the care they need to start to live there lives again.

Christel Moore

Therapist

I am Christel Moore. I am trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Therapy and Substance Abuse Therapy. I have been in the field for seven years working with families and children. I received my bachelors in Criminal Justice Legal Studies at Marshal University and my Masters in Psychology from University of Phoenix and currently pursuing my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.

Cathy Heft

Forensic Interviewer

I am Cathy Heft, and I am a Forensic Interviewer. I have worked for Just For Kids since 2011. I began as Office Manager/Case Coordinator/Family Advocate, I then attended Forensic Interview training, Finding Words WV, in 2013 at Marshall University. I graduated from Concord University with a Bachelors in Sociology.

Tim Vickers

Forensic Interviewer

Tim Vickers was born and raised in Southern West Virginia and attended schools locally in the region. I graduated from Concord College with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Social Work and continued with post graduate work in Psychology at Marshall University. I worked with Child Protective Services for 10 years, 8 as an investigator and 2 as a CPS intake Supervisor in Raleigh County, WV. I has trained in forensic interviewing at the University of Cincinnati; Wynona University Minnesota- Cornerhouse; and ABSAC training in the State of West Virginia. I have also obtained training through Missing and Exploited Children through OJJDP in Pittsburgh, PA. I have been a Finding Words and Child First trainer for 14 years now helping Law Enforcement, Child Protective Services and Prosecuting Attorneys in the State of West Virginia. I am currently a Forensic Interviewer for "Just For Kids" child advocacy center in Southern West Virginia where I continue my service to help protect children in my region. I enjoy my free time with my family, and I am a rabid WVU all sports fan!
