Close to 100 people filled  McBee's Hall in uptown Beckley to recognize 10 individuals and  2 organizations that have been instrumental in sustaining the quality supports and services of Just For Kids over the past 9 years. Senator Bill Laird gave the keynote address, then Scott Miller, Executive Director of Just For Kids, recognized each of the recipients as "Champions of Children". A scrumptious dinner of salad, chicken cordon bleu and veggies was topped off with a chocolate mouse cake for dessert.
